SAN ANTONIO -- UTSA women's tennis will kick off its 2019 season with a match at Texas A&M on Saturday in College Station, starting at 10 a.m. at the Mitchell Tennis Center.
UTSA, under the direction of first-year head coach Ki Kroll, opens its spring schedule on Saturday. The Roadrunners return several key players from the 2017-18 season, including junior Laura Cabrera (Barcelona, Spain), Kylee Kato (Kahului, Hawaii), Diya Menon (Plano, Texas), and Charleen Tiwari (Perth, AUstralia)Newcomers include Sophie Omoworare (Plano, Texas).
In addition, UTSA had added Catalina Cabrique (Bogata, Columbia), Mariah Plauth (Florianapolis, Brazil) and and Jasmin Starr (Victoria, Australia) for the spring season.
