SAN ANTONIO -- Jhivvan Jackson and Keaton Wallace scored 23 points apiece to lead five Roadrunners in double figures, as UTSA raced past Bethany College, 101-77, on Monday night at the Convocation Center.
Nick Allen added 12 points and a game-high eight rebounds, while Adokiye Iyaye and Byron Frohnen added 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Roadrunners (4-7).
Jackson and Wallace each hit five 3-pointers to lead a 12-for-27 effort (44.4 percent) from downtown. UTSA posted a season-high 35 fast-break points, shot 52.9 percent from the floor overall and hit 15-of-18 (83.3 percent) at the free-throw line as 11 different players scored in the team's second 100-point showing in the last three contests.
Jackson's 23 marked the sixth straight game with 20-plus points for the sophomore guard, the first time that has been done by a Roadrunner since Ryan Bowie reeled off six straight 20-point games in February 2016.
Meanwhile, Wallace notched the fifth 20-point outing of his sophomore campaign and he added six rebounds and a pair of steals.
UTSA stormed out to a double-digit lead through the first nine minutes in winning for the second straight season against the Swedes (7-6), who counted the game as an exhibition and were coached by former UTSA assistant Dan O'Dowd.
A layup by Iyaye finished off a 6-0 spurt that gave the Roadrunners a 13-6 lead through the first five and a half minutes.
Wallace started a 12-0 run with a 3-pointer and capped it when he was on the receiving end of an alley-oop from Jackson at the 10:40 mark that made it 25-12
The Swedes reeled off six unanswered points to pull within seven, but another alley-oop from Jackson to Wallace kick-started an 11-2 run that also included a layup and a pair of treys by Jackson to push the lead to 36-23 with just over six minutes left until halftime.
Bethany cut the deficit to 43-37 on a Tyler Larkin three in the final minute, but Jackson's runner in the lane with 15 seconds on the clock provided the 45-37 halftime margin.
After the Swedes made it a seven-point contest twice early in the second half, back-to-back 3-pointers by Wallace and another from the corner by Allen helped UTSA stretch the lead to 58-42.
Frohnen's jumper, a layup by Wallace and a Jackson trifecta from the wing capped a 16-0 run that pushed the lead to 23 with just over 15 minutes left to play.
The lead grew to as many as 33 in the final minutes, as UTSA cruised to its fourth win of the season.
Larkin led the Swedes with 21 points and seven rebounds, while Lavaria Duncan added 12 points and six boards.
The Roadrunners will make the short drive down I-37 to face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Thursday, Dec. 20. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at the American Bank Center and the game can be heard live on Ticket 760 AM.
