MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- A balanced effort, led by a 10-kill outing from freshman Hannah Lopez, helped push UTSA volleyball to a three-set sweep (25-15, 25-14, 25-21) at Middle Tennessee, on Sunday afternoon.

UTSA (18-7, 10-3 Conference USA) wrapped up its final road match of the regular season with a three-set win over Middle Tennessee (7-19, 2-9 C-USA). The Roadrunners have now won double-figure games in 13 of UTSA Coach Laura Neugebauer-Groff's 17 seasons.

The Roadrunners hit .333 as a team in the win, with Lopez owning a team-leading 10 kills. Sophomore Hannah Froeschl and junior Montse Castro each earned eight kills and freshman Kirby Smith and junior Kara Teal notched seven terminations. Junior Brianna McCulloch added six kills.

Senior setter Amanda Gonzales, a product of New Braunfels, Texas, had a historic game, notching 18 assists to lead the team. It pushed her to 3,009 career assists, ranking third in UTSA's rally scoring era history (2003-present). Freshman Mia Perales added 14 assists with senior libero Shelby Williams owning a club-best 14 digs.

UTSA wraps up the regular season on Saturday, hosting UTEP at 12 p.m. CT at the Convocation Center. The C-USA Tournament will be hosted by Marshall on Nov. 16-18.
