SAN ANTONIO -- Just 30 seconds away from its first win in Conference USA play, UTSA allowed a game-tying goal and league frontrunner FAU netted a golden goal in the 100th minute to post a 2-1 comeback win over UTSA, on Friday night at the Park West Athletics Complex.
UTSA (4-6-1, 0-3-1 C-USA) took a 1-0 lead into the 90th minute against FAU (8-6, 5-0 C-USA), poised to hand the Owls their first loss in league action. A pair of goals from Kaila Armstrong saw FAU escape with the win.
UTSA keeper Michelle Cole (4-6-1) finished with six saves, including a stop of a penalty shot in the overtime period. FAU keeper Jennifer OCampo (7-6) had four saves.
UTSA's goal came from Melissa Finley, her second of the year, coming off an assist from Rebekah Kensing in the 13th minute.

The Roadrunners will return to action on Sunday vs. Marshall at 1 p.m. CT at the Park West Athletics Complex.
UTSA got on the board in the 13th minutes, taking a corner from the far side of the pitch. Rebekah Kensing lofted a ball from the corner flag into the edge of the six-yard box, finding Finley, who headed it in to the center of the net past a diving keeper.
A corner from the far side was lofted into a scrum inside the six-yard box with 30 seconds remaining in regulation, with Armstrong sneaking it in the net for the equalizer.
In the 100th minute, just 35 seconds from taking the match to a second overtime period, FAU struck for the game-winning tally on an assist from Mary O'Hara.
