SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Old Dominion Thursday evening at Park West Athletics Complex.
The Roadrunners (5-9-1, 1-6-1 C-USA) had six shots in the game, while the Monarchs (7-6-3, 4-3-1 C-USA) had seven.
Jordyn Lacy garnered two shots, while Rebekah Kensing, Ellis Patterson, Olivia Nicholls and Lexi Bolton all had one.
In the 35th minute, Old Dominion scored a goal hitting the shot from the middle of the box just seconds after a corner kick.
The remainder of the first half and start of the first half was a battle for the ball as it went up and down the field.
The Monarchs found the net in the 65th minute with a header from a corner kick.
UTSA posted six corner kicks, besting ODU by three.
The Roadrunners return to Park West on Sunday when they host Charlotte at 12 p.m.
