SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA women's golf team will host the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational on Sunday-Tuesday, Oct. 14-16, at TPC San Antonio's AT&T Canyons Course (par 72/6,233 yards). Admission is free.
The Roadrunners will welcome Houston, Marshall, North Texas, Oral Roberts, TCU, Tennessee, UAB and UIW for the three-day, 54-hole event with tee times off No. 1 at 8:30 a.m. each day. Formerly, called The Alamo Invitational, the tournament is in its 10th year and was renamed in 2016 in honor of the late Maryb S. Kauth.

The Roadrunners are coming off an eighth-place showing at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate last weekend in Littleton, Colo. Ana Gonzalez tied for 24th with a 223 (74-78-71) to lead the Birds, while Hannah Holzmann tied for 33rd after posting a 225 (74-79-72).
UTSA finished 10th at last year's Maryb S. Kauth Invitational behind Gonzalez, who tied for 28th place with a 221 (75-71-75). The Roadrunners won the tournament in 2011 behind individual medalist Fabiola Arriaga and have finished in the top five on three other occasions.
