SAN ANTONIO – Lexi Bolton, Ellis Patterson, Jordyn Lacy and Tara Giesen all scored goals as the UTSA soccer team swept Incarnate Word, 6-0 Sunday evening.
This is the largest margin of victory since the Roadrunners (4-3) posted a 7-0 win over Prairie View A&M Sept. 16, 2011.

In the ninth minute of the game, Lexi Bolton scored her third goal of the season with a straight shot between the posts off an assist from Katie Becker.
Just a minute later, Ellis Patterson found the back of the net off an assist from Bolton at the 10th minute to increase the score to 2-0.
Patterson scored again for the Roadrunners in the 21st minute from another assist by Bolton.
The Roadrunners started the second half off strong with a goal in the 47th minute of the game when Bolton shot from the right side of the goal off an assist from Patterson.
Junior Jordyn Lacy made her first goal of the season in the 56th minute of the game when she won a battle with the keeper and tapped the ball right into the net.
With just 30 seconds remaining in the game, Tara Giesen shot her first-career goal off an assist from Channing Machen to finish out the game.
UTSA returns to action for the start of conference play at Middle Tennessee on Sept. 16. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
