UTSA Women’s Golf unveils 2018-19 schedule

SAN ANTONIO —
 UTSA head women's golf coach Summer Batiste unveiled Wednesday the program's 2018-19 schedule, which is highlighted by trips to seven other states and the Roadrunners' annual home tournament, the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational.

UTSA will tee off its second season under the direction of Batiste, the 2018 Conference USA Coach of the Year, on Aug. 31 when it travels to Ardmore, Okla., to compete in the Lady Maxwell Invitational. The three-day event will be hosted by Oral Roberts at Dornick Hills Golf & Country Club.

The Roadrunners then will head to Knoxville, Tenn., for the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship hosted by Tennessee on Sept. 16-18 at Cherokee Country Club.

UTSA will play the first of three October tournaments in the Rocky Mountain State when the Roadrunners fly to Littleton, Colo., for the Ron Moore Intercollegiate on Oct. 5-7.

The Birds will host the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational on Oct. 14-16 at their new home course, the TPC San Antonio AT&T Canyons Course.

UTSA will conclude the fall slate on Oct. 29-31 at SMU's Trinity Forest Invitational in Dallas.

The Roadrunners' spring season gets underway on Feb. 11-12 at the Texas State Invitational, which will be contested at Plum Creek Golf Club in Kyle, Texas.

UTSA then will make the short drive to The Woodlands Country Club for The Dickson hosted by Houston on Feb. 25-26.

The month of March will feature two familiar tournaments for the Roadrunners when make return trips to St. George, Utah, for the BYU at Entrada Classic on March 11-12 and to Baton Rouge, La., for the LSU Tiger Classic on March 29-31.

​​​UTSA then will travel to Macon, Ga., for The Brickyard Collegiate, which will be hosted by Mercer on April 8-9 at Brickyard at Riverside.

The Roadrunners will look to defend their conference crown when they head to Fort Myers, Fla., on April 15-17 for the C-USA Championship.

NCAA Regionals will be held on May 6-8 and the NCAA Championship is set for May 17-22 at The Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark.
