SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA women's tennis team won for the third time in its last four outing after downing Louisiana Tech, 4-2, in the home finale Sunday at the UTSA Tennis Center.

The Roadrunners (8-10) captured the doubles point and then proceeded to win three of the five singles matchups that went to completion.

Laura Cabrera provided the clinching point at No. 2 singles with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) win.

Denisa Ibrahimovic was triumphant at the top spot with a 6-3, 6-4 decision against Nadja Manjon, while Kylee Kato also earned a straight-sets victory at the fifth position (6-2, 7-6 [8-6]).

In doubles play, the Lady Techsters (9-9) won the third flight to take a quick lead, but UTSA rallied with wins at the first and second spots to take the opening point.
