SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA baseball team will welcome FIU to Roadrunner Field for a three-game Conference USA series this weekend.
NOTE: Due to the forecast for inclement weather on Saturday, the series has been adjusted and an updated schedule is below.
Friday – 3 p.m. (doubleheader)
Saturday – off
Sunday – 12 p.m.
Additionally, the celebration of the 2007 and '08 championship teams scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Saturday, May 5 against Rice.
The Roadrunners (19-16, 7-7 C-USA) dropped two of three to league-leading Florida Atlantic last weekend in Boca Raton, Fla. UTSA salvaged the set with an 8-1 in last Sunday's finale and then defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Tuesday night, 6-1.
The Panthers (17-19, 7-8 C-USA) lost last weekend's league series against Southern Miss, winning only the middle game of the set.
