SAN ANTONIO – UTSA track & field will send a total of 25 competitors to the 91st Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Built By The Home Depot in Austin. The Roadrunners will compete on Thursday-Saturday, March 29-31.
The event
The four-day event gets underway Wednesday at Mike A. Myers Stadium, but the Roadrunners will not begin competition until Thursday.
The 91st edition of the meet will be one of the largest in its history with more than 7,000 athletes accepted. More than 700 high school teams and another 195 college squads will face off in what is expected to be another one of the top events in the country. The meet once again has drawn a strong contingent from the Lone Star State, but it also has also brought in athletes from around the globe, including more than a dozen Olympians.

Roadrunner competitors
UTSA will field 15 total entries, five men and five women individuals along with three men's relays and two women's. Patrick Prince, Justin Gerbrecht and Devall Harris will compete in the 110m hurdles, Gerbrecht and Andrew Pirog will run the 400m hurdles. Jamiah Jackson and Victoria Rausch will enter the 100m hurdle starting blocks, while Sierra Andres and Christy Gilbert will compete in the 400m hurdles and Mia Hicks in the discus. UTSA will field both men's and women's 4x200m and 4x400m relay teams. In addition, the Roadrunner men will also enter a squad in the 4x800m relay.
Through the first two meets of the outdoor season, the Roadrunners men have six marks that rank among the top 25 nationally and the women three. Adrian Riley leads the NCAA in the decathlon, Prince ranks third in the 110m hurdles and Gabriyella Torres ranks fifth in the heptathlon.
