Roadrunners to face Thundering Herd this weekend

SAN ANTONIO – UTSA will close out its four-game home stand with a three-game series against Marshall this weekend at Roadrunner Field. The Conference USA set is scheduled to open at 6 p.m. Friday. Saturday's game will be played at 2 p.m., while Sunday's finale is slated for an 11 a.m. first pitch.

All three games will be streamed live on CUSA.tv with Glynne Collenback providing the call.

The Roadrunners (8-10, 0-2 C-USA) are coming off a 7-2 win on Tuesday against No. 30 Texas State at the Bird Bath. UTSA bounced back from a doubleheader sweep at then-No. 15 Southern Miss last weekend, which opened league action. The finale of the series was canceled on Sunday due to rain.

Marshall (11-6, 1-2 C-USA) has won seven of its last 10 ballgames, but dropped two of three to UAB last weekend in Huntington, W.Va. The Thundering Herd logged a 6-0 victory in Sunday's finale against the Blazers to salvage the series.
