UTSA will compete against Alabama, Purdue, Texas, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas Tech and UTRGV.
Roadrunner competitors
UTSA will field 61 total men's entries, including a team-high six competitors in the 1,500-meter run. The women have 47 total entries with a team-high seven in the hammer throw.
Quoting UTSA director of track & field Aaron Fox
"What we try to do for this meet is make it competitive, but low key, and we've invited some good teams. Our goal as a team is to get some marks established and work on what we have been practicing. We want to compete, but not get anyone injured as it is early in the outdoor season and we just got done with the indoor season."
