SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA women's golf team will travel to The Woodlands to compete in The Dickson on Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 26-27, at The Woodlands Country Club's Tournament Course (par 72/6,392 yards).
The Roadrunners will face Charlotte, No. 47 Clemson, No. 32 Florida State, No. 21 Houston, No. 23 Iowa State, No. 16 Kent State, Mississippi State, North Texas, No. 25 Purdue, SMU, TCU, No. 36 Texas A&M, Texas State, No. 44 Texas Tech, Troy and Tulsa. The field will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday with 8 a.m. shotgun starts each day. Live scoring will be available at golfstat.com.
UTSA finished ninth with an 885 (297-290-298) at The Dickson last year. Nikki Long tied for fifth place with a 4-under-par 212 (70-71-71) to lead the way, and the San Antonio native earned Conference USA Golfer of the Week honors for her performance.
The Roadrunners are coming off a runner-up finish at the Texas State Invitational in their spring season opener on Feb. 12-13 in Kyle, Texas. Madison Kidd registered her second top-10 finish of her sophomore campaign with career-best tie for seventh place after firing a 219 (73-73-73), and the Lake Jackson, Texas, product was tabbed C-USA Golfer of the Week for her showing.
