SAN ANTONIO – Trailing by one after a missed North Texas free throw, UTSA's Giovanni De Nicolao raced the length of the floor and laid the ball of the glass in the final second, but the shot along with the ensuing tip-in chance did not fall as the Mean Green escaped the Convocation Center with a 72-71 victory Saturday evening.
