Wilson releases depth chart for Baylor

SAN ANTONIO – UTSA Head Coach Frank Wilson announced the depth chart for the Roadrunners' season opener at Baylor on Saturday night.

The contest is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. at McLane Stadium in Waco and will be televised on Fox Sports Networks.

A total of eight newcomers, including two true freshmen, are on the depth chart for this week's contest. The offense is expected to be led by senior quarterback Dalton Sturm, who has made 20 starts under center. Senior wide receiver Kerry Thomas Jr. leads the offensive unit with a total of 36 games of experience in a Roadrunner uniform, including 23 starting appearances.

On the defensive side of the ball, senior defensive end Marcus Davenport is slated to start at the Sam defensive end spot. The San Antonio native has logged 35 games, including 23 starts. Senior free safety Nate Gaines also has started 23 games for UTSA, while seeing action in a total of 33 contests.
