Bears edge Roadrunners on Friday night, 1-0

WACO, Texas – Michelle Cole posted a career-high 10 saves, but Baylor received a 49th-minute goal from Ally Henderson to down UTSA, 1-0, on Friday night at Betty Lou Mays Soccer Field.

The Roadrunners (1-3) and Bears (3-0-1) played a scoreless first half. However, Henderson found the back of the net four minutes into the second half to give Baylor the lone score of the contest.

The Bears also outshot UTSA 23-1.

Just three minutes after Baylor scored, Jasmine Marwan attempted the Roadrunners' only shot, which was saved by goalkeeper Jennifer Wandt.

UTSA will return home to host No. 19 Oklahoma State on Sunday. The game is slated to begin at 1 p.m. at Park West Athletics Complex.
