SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will wrap up the home portion of its spring campaign on Thursday when it hosts Colorado State at 3 p.m. Admission is free and seniors Miriam Rosell Canudas and Lina Hallgren will be honored prior to the contest as part of Senior Day festivities.
The Roadrunners (8-7) come into their first all-time meeting with the Rams (4-7) riding a two-match winning streak following last weekend's victories against Prairie View A&M and former Southland Conference foe Central Arkansas.
Rosell Canudas, the nation's 103rd-ranked singles player continues to pace UTSA with her perfect 15-0 record this spring. The Torello, Spain, native has dropped just two sets during her final season. Meanwhile, Hallgren has teamed up with Charleen Tiwari for a squad-best mark of 9-3 in doubles play.
Colorado State, which was downed by Texas State by a score of 4-0 on Tuesday, has split its past four outings. Five players share the team lead with three singles victories, while the duo of Riley Reeves and Celine Voss have a club-leading three doubles triumphs.
