IRVING — Conference USA announced the members of its all-conference teams, as voted on by the coaches, and outside hitters Dajana Boskovic and Marijeta Runjic were selected first and second team respectively.
Senior Boskovic makes her fourth appearance as a first team honoree as she tops the league in kills per set and currently ranks seventh in the nation with 4.78 per set.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina native has amassed 19 matches in double figure kills, including 11 of 20 or more, and notched a career high of 31 in non-conference action against Wichita State. Boskovic paces the team with eight double-doubles and has totaled 35 in her four-year career.
She also earned the final C-USA Offensive Player of the Week award this past Monday for her fourth of the season and ninth overall.
Meanwhile, Runjic makes her second consecutive appearance as a second team all-conference selection. The 6-foot-4 outside hitter is averaging a team second-best 2.99 kills per set and has collected 13 matches in double figure kills.
Runjic has also recorded 35 blocks, 13 aces and 43 digs over the course of the season and was named to the SMU Doubletree Classic and Nike Invitational All-Tournament teams in the early goings.
Fourth-seeded UTSA will open the Conference USA Tournament at 2 p.m. on Friday against No. 5 seed Florida Atlantic.
