IRVING — Outside hitter Dajana Boskovic garnered the final Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week award of 2016, the league office announced on Monday.
UTSA split its final week of regular season action with a win at Charlotte and loss at Rice to head into the conference tournament with a 19-7 overall record and as the No. 4 seed.
Boskovic combined for 39 kills over the weekend and notched a season-best .552 attack percentage at Charlotte. She then racked up 21 winners at Rice to bring her season total of double figure kills to 19 with 11 of them checking in at 20 or more.
The 6-foot-1 outside hitter earned her fourth weekly honor of the season and ninth of her prestigious career.
UTSA will continue its season later this week at the Conference USA Tournament, where it will face fifth-seeded Florida Atlantic in Friday's opening round at 2 p.m.
