UTSA to conclude fall campaign at Trinity Forest Invitational

SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA women's golf team will conclude its fall campaign at this week's inaugural Trinity Forest Invitational presented by Vic Salvino. The two-day tournament will start on Monday at Trinity Forest Golf Club (par 72/6,236 yards) in Dallas.

The Roadrunners will face No. 21 Baylor, Houston, Kansas, No. 45 Kansas State, Memphis, No. 46 Michigan, Mississippi State, No. 25 Ohio State, No. 32 SMU, No. 22 Texas A&M, No. 30 Texas Tech, Tulsa and UNLV. The field will play 36 holes beginning with an 8:30 shotgun start on Monday followed by the final round on Tuesday.

UTSA is coming off a seventh-place finish at the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational on Oct. 23-25 at Briggs Ranch Golf Club in San Antonio. Aimee Ponte led the way with a 2-under-par 214 (75-69-70) to tie for 10th, while Julie Houston was 16th with a 217 (70-72-75).
