IRVING — Outside hitter Dajana Boskovic helped UTSA extend its winning streak to nine matches and she picked up her third Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week award of the season, the league office announced on Monday.
Boskovic began the week with 19 kills, eight digs and a pair of blocks to lead the Roadrunners to a 3-2 home victory against North Texas. In the deciding set, the senior broke a 4-all tie with a kill that eventually led to the win. She then followed with a 22-kill, 11-dig performance for a road victory at UTEP. Boskovic also registered a season-best five blocks.
Over the weekend, she averaged 4.10 kills, 1.90 digs and 0.70 blocks per set.
UTSA will continue its three-match road swing this Sunday, Oct. 9, when the Roadrunners travel to Huntington, W.Va. to take on Marshall.
