SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will showcase its men's and women's basketball programs on Thursday, Oct. 27, at Rowdy Jam. All the festivities are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the Convocation Center.
Men's head coach Steve Henson and women's head coach Lubomyr Lichonczak, along with their teams, will be introduced at the event, which is free and open to the public. Following introductions, both squads will scrimmage to give fans their first looks at the 2016-17 teams.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the first 200 fans will receive an event T-shirt. Fans also are encouraged to come in costume for several contests including scariest, funniest, best roadrunner and best Coach Henson look-alike.
Prizes include tickets and access to a hospitality area for a San Antonio Spurs game, San Antonio Stars tickets in the NuStar Suite and lower level tickets to a San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo performance.
