STILLWATER, Okla. — Jaci Jones scored a pair of second-half goals to help Oklahoma State top visiting UTSA, 5-0, on Sunday afternoon at the Cowgirls Soccer Complex.
Sophomore goalie Michelle Cole made a career-high four saves for the Roadrunners (4-3), while freshman Marianne Hernandez recorded a pair of shots.
Meanwhile, Jones scored two of the three second-half goals for the Cowgirls (4-3-1) to go along with an assist in the first half.
Jones set up Oklahoma State's first goal of the afternoon, which came in the third minute off the foot of Marlo Zoller. Anna Beffer then picked up an unassisted goal in the 32nd minute to give the home squad a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
Jones then put the match out of reach with her two goals coming in the 76th and 84th minutes and Bri Woodall added one more score in the 89th minute for the final margin.
The Roadrunners will return home on Friday, Sept. 16, for a 10 a.m. contest against UC Santa Barbara (6-0).
