UTSA announces women's signing class on Thursday

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA Director of Track Field/Cross Country Aaron Fox announced the women's signing class on Thursday.

Anika Alfaro (Raymondville, Texas/Raymondville HS), Lynette Amaram (Stafford, Texas/Stafford HS), Brenttany Birdow (Hitchcock, Texas/Hitchcock HS), Maia Campbell (Converse, Texas/Judson HS), Cynthia Gonzales (San Antonio, Texas/MacArthur HS), Taylor Lett (Spring, Texas/Klein HS), Tadrian Rose (Killeen, Texas/Harker Heights HS), Stephanie Sauceda (Weslaco, Texas/Weslaco HS), Jayela Slack (Humble, Texas/Atascocita HS) and Marlette Trevino (Rio Grande City, Texas/Rio Grande City HS) will join the Roadrunners next season.

"We are pleased to announce this year's signing class," Fox said. "Of course, we are still working on adding more student-athletes to this group, but we are extremely excited on what these young student-athletes will bring in the classroom and athletically. We look forward to seeing them mature as athletes and as young adults. We welcome them to the Roadrunner family."

Below is a breakdown of this year's recruiting class and check back throughout the spring and summer, as the list will be updated as athletes sign National Letters of Intent to join the Roadrunners for the 2016-17 seasons.
