AUSTIN — Justin Gerbrecht raced to an eighth-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles to lead the UTSA men's track & field team at Saturday's Texas Invitational.
Gerbrecht sped to a time of 14.60 en route to placing eighth in the field of 17 hurdlers.
Meanwhile, Mikael Dawkins recorded a pair of personal bests in the 100m and 200m with his times of 10.86 and 21.75, respectively.
Kyren Hollis also clocked a career-best mark, a 1:53.27 in a 14th-place effort in the 800m.
UTSA will return to action next weekend at the Triton Invitational. The two-day meet is scheduled to begin on Friday, April 22, in LaJolla, Calif.
