UTSA is coming off a fourth-place showing at the All There August Challenge on Feb. 14-15 in New Braunfels. Meanwhile, Nikki Long (T-6th) and Aimee Ponte (t-9th) posted top-10 finishes to help lead the Roadrunners to their second straight top-five effort.

The Roadrunners last competed in the Islanders Classic in 2012, when current assistant coach Summer Batiste and Taylor Newlin tied for medalist honors to help lead the Birds to the team title. UTSA won its first-ever tournament championship at the 2009 Islanders Classic behind an individual crown from Shelly Martinez.
