SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will continue its six-game home stand with a 5 p.m. matchup on Saturday against Utah Valley at the Convocation Center.
The Roadrunners (2-9) are coming off Wednesday's 75-61 matinee victory against East Central. Gino Littles, Lucas O’Brien and Christian Wilson paced the squad with 12 points apiece, while Ryan Bowie and George Matthews each added 10.
Meanwhile, the Wolverines (4-6) have won their last two games and will look to improve on a 1-3 mark away from home this season. Walk-on forward and Utah State transfer Konner Frey leads Utah Valley with 16.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, while guards Jaden Jackson (11.7 ppg) and Marcel Davis (11.6 ppg) also are averaging in double figures.
Saturday’s contest will mark the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
Fans can bring unwrapped toys to be donated to Toys for Tots and have a chance to win some UTSA prizes.
