Kohler paces Roadrunners at Broncos Invitational

SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Grace Kohler led the UTSA women's cross country at Saturday's Broncos Invitational.  

Kohler completed the 6,000-meter Baylands Regional Park loop in 21:39.7 en route to 52nd place. She was followed by Yulisa Abundis (63rd/21:48.1), Kerstin Sheehan (96th/22:07.9), Lauren Haney (102nd/22:13.9) and Charlette Janicek (144th/22:53.9).

Emily Perez (149th/23:03.3) and Vanessa Lerma (156th/23:16.2) rounded the Roadrunners' finishers in the field of 172 runners.

Loyola Marymount produced 58 total points to secure the team victory among the 18 Division I schools, while San Jose State (133) and Sacramento State (142) rounded out the top three. UTSA netted 343 points and placed 14th.

The Roadrunners will begin postseason competition in two weeks at the Conference USA Championships in Bowling Green, Ky.
