SAN ANTONIO — UTSA's women's tennis team will continue its fall campaign at Saturday's Texas State Play Date. The tournament is scheduled to get underway at 9 a.m. at the Bobcats Tennis Complex in San Marcos.
Players from Prairie View A&M and UT Rio Grande Valley will join the Roadrunners and host Bobcats at the one-day event that will start with doubles matches followed by two rounds of singles contests.
No-ad scoring will be used. Doubles play will consist of an eight-game pro set with tiebreaker at seven-all, while singles matches will be decided by winning two out of three sets with a tiebreaker at six-all.
Sonia Madroñal Medina, Caitlyn Resendiz, Alena Shichkova and Charleen Tiwari will represent UTSA, which will be competing for the fifth time this fall.
