SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will open their 2015 campaign on Friday at the Aggies Opener, which will be hosted by Texas A&M at the brand new Dale Watts Cross Country in College Station.
The men's 6,000-meter race is scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m. and the Roadrunners will be joined by runners from Lamar and meet host Texas A&M.
UTSA finished seventh at last year’s Conference USA Championships in Denton and went on to place 20th at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships in Fayetteville, Ark.
The Roadrunners, now in their third season as a member of Conference USA, welcome back five letterwinners from a year ago — Montgomery Bertschy, Alex Cruz, Luis Nuñez, Saul Vasquez and John Von Dohlen — in addition to six newcomers.
