SAN ANTONIO — Registration now is open for the 10th Annual Brooks Thompson Basketball Camps, which are slated for nine days during the month of June at the Convocation Center.
Things will get underway with the two-day Father & Child Camp, which is set for June 12-13 and it is designed to provide quality time between the father/guardian and camper and to help them become familiar with the teaching system. It is open to both boys and girls entering grades 1-12 and their father/guardian.
The annual Day Camp will run from June 15-18. It focuses on fundamentals of the game and is open to boys entering grades 1-9.
The Shooting Camp, which teaches basic fundamentals of shooting form, balance, footwork, proper release, shooting off the dribble and using screens, is slated for June 24-25. It is open to boys and girls entering grades 1-12.
On June 26, Thompson will host the High School Elite Camp, which is open to boys entering grades 9-12 for a one-day, high-intensity skills camp designed to give players the opportunity to develop advanced individual skills and team concepts.
