SAN MARCOS — UTSA dropped its regular season finale at I-35 rival Texas State by a score of 4-3 on Thursday.

The Bobcats (7-6) jumped on top early by winning the first two completed doubles matches.

The lead grew to 2-0 when Katy Collins cruised past Irene Gandara Gonzalez at the sixth spot in the lineup (6-0, 6-1), but the Roadrunners (10-12) then mounted a comeback.
