SAN ANTONIO — Head volleyball coach Laura Neugebauer-Groff announced Friday that Antonela Jularic will join her program for the upcoming 2015 campaign.
Jularic hails from Vrbovec, Croatia, where she most recently played in the Youth World Championships in Estonia. As a member of the Croatian National Volleyball league, she helped lead her club team, HAOK Mladost, to back-to-back league titles in 2014-15.
The 6-foot-1 outside hitter also is a member of the Croatian Youth National and Senior National Teams. Jularic was named the league’s Most Valuable Player in 2013 and she was named the Best Athlete of the City of Vrbovec three years prior to that.
Jularic will join fellow newcomers Amanda Gonales and Shelby Williams this fall.
