WALNUT, Calif. — Andrew Akens placed third in the shot put to lead the UTSA men's track & field team at this weekend's Mt. SAC Relays.
Akens registered a mark of 59-0 ¼ (17.99m) en route to his bronze medal in the field of 13 and that was his third top-three finish in four outings this season.
The Roadrunners will return to action next Saturday, April 25, at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight in Houston.
