Thompson offers "money-back guarantee" for Saturday's game with Charlotte

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA head men’s basketball coach Brooks Thompson is offering a “money-back guarantee” for Saturday’s 2 p.m. contest against Charlotte at the Convocation Center.

“If you come to our game on Saturday and don’t have a good time we’ll refund the cost of your ticket,” the ninth-year head coach said. “Bring your family and friends and come to the Convocation Center on Saturday afternoon. What do you have to lose?”

The Roadrunners (12-10, 6-5 C-USA) entered this week in sixth place in the Conference USA standings and will host the 49ers (10-13, 3-7 C-USA) at home for the second consecutive season.

UTSA, which ranks fourth in the league in scoring at 71.6 ppg, is coming off back-to-back road wins at FIU and Florida Atlantic.

The squad features four of the league’s top 25 scorers including Jeromie Hill, who is just the second player in program history to amass at least 1,500 points and 700 rebounds in his career. Reigning C-USA Player of the Week Kaj-Björn Sherman (12.1 ppg), Keon Lewis (14.4 ppg) and Ryan Bowie (12.6 ppg) all rank among the best scorers in the circuit.

To take advantage of the Thompson Guarantee, tickets must be purchased with a credit card, as all refunds will be credited back to your card. To get a refund, fans must return their tickets to the ticket office during or after Saturday’s game and complete the refund request form.

Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here or calling the ticket office at (210) 458-UTSA (8872).
