UTSA set for Saturday evening matchup at Florida Atlantic

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will look for a Sunshine State sweep when it travels to Boca Raton, Fla., for a 6 p.m. (CT) matchup at Florida Atlantic on Saturday.

The Roadrunners (11-10, 5-5 C-USA) have won four of their last five road games after a 74-63 win at FIU on Thursday. UTSA trailed by as much as 13 in the first half and Keon Lewis led the comeback with 19 of his game-high 23 points in the second half. It was the fifth 20-point game of the season for Lewis, who buried three straight 3-pointers in one stretch to help give UTSA the lead for good.

Jeromie Hill added his third consecutive double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while the Roadrunners forced the Panthers into committing a season-high 26 turnovers. In addition, the senior moved past Devin Brown and into third place on the school's all-time rebounds list and he will enter play on Saturday with 758 boards in his career.

Meanwhile, the Owls (8-12, 1-8 C-USA) have lost four straight games and they have dropped eight of their last nine contests overall. Led by first-year head coach Michael Curry, Florida Atlantic welcomed back four starters and eight letterwinners from last year's squad. Like UTSA, the Owls feature four players that average in double figures led by Solomon Poole's 14.1 ppg.

UTSA won the only other meeting between the schools, 66-56, on Feb. 15, 2014, in San Antonio.
