SAN ANTONIO — Everyone deserves to bring in the New Year in style and the UTSA women’s basketball did just that by helping out those at The Manor Assisted Living & Retirement Home on New Year's Eve.
The Roadrunners helped organize the New Year’s Eve party, which began at 3 p.m. The team helped from start to finish beginning with the prep of the party food. They also helped pass out refreshments and socialized with the residents by singing karaoke.
Countdown for the New Year came a little early for the residents, as they rang in 2015 around 4 p.m. When everything was all said and done, the team assisted the residents back to the room.
