SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will look to bounce back from Friday's Conference USA-opening loss at Rice when it takes on North Texas at 2 p.m. on Sunday at The Super Pit.
The contest between the Roadrunners (5-6, 0-1 C-USA) and Mean Green (6-7, 0-1 C-USA) can be seen on FOX Sports Networks (FOX Sports Southwest in the state of Texas) with Matt Martucci and Mike Jarvis calling the action.
Jeromie Hill led UTSA in Friday's loss with 15 points, eight rebounds, four steals and a career-high four blocks. Meanwhile, Keon Lewis added 11 points and Phillip Jones chipped in 10 for the Roadrunners, who will close a stretch in which they have played six of their last seven contests on the road.
Meanwhile, North Texas will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak and avoid an 0-2 start to league play for the third consecutive season. Jordan Williams leads the team with 14.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
