SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will travel down IH-37 and meet former Southland Conference foe Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 7:30 p.m. on Monday night at American Bank Center.
The Roadrunners (3-4) rank second in Conference USA and 37th in the nation with an average of 77.4 points per game. UTSA features three of the league's top nine scorers and it is led by Ryan Bowie's 15.9 ppg (3rd C-USA). Bowie connected on a season-high four 3-pointers en route to 22 points in the Roadrunners' setback at Washington State on Dec. 6.
Meanwhile, the Islanders (3-4) will look to snap a three-game skid in the all-time series. Monday will mark the 20th meeting between the teams with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi holding a slim 10-9 edge. However, UTSA has won five of the last six contests.
