SAN ANTONIO — The 2014 Fall Graduation Celebration presented by UTSA Athletics' Student-Athlete Society was hosted on Thursday night at Stone Werks Big Rock Grille at The Rim.
Thirty-five senior student-athletes that will be graduating later this month were recognized. This class of seniors will go down in history as the first group to have played in three different conferences during their athletics career.
Eight Roadrunners teams were represented and the event was highlighted by speeches from head coaches Larry Coker (football) and Aaron Fox (track & field/cross country), as well as Senior Woman's Administrator Tamica Smith-Jones.
David Glasco II (football) and Dempsey Thornton (volleyball) served as keynote speakers and they talked about their time at UTSA and the great decisions they made to play for the Roadrunners.
The master of ceremonies was Athletics Director Lynn Hickey and the event organizer was Development Assistant Victor Yates.
