SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will host Howard Payne at 2 p.m. on Saturday in its final tuneup before opening the regular season slate on Nov. 15 at Texas.
In its last exhibition contest, UTSA walked away with a 69-43 victory against McMurry.
Mathilde Hergott led all scorers with 15 points, while Tesha Smith added 11 points off the bench.
Along with all returners seeing action on the hardwood, all three newcomers saw time on the floor as well.
Carlie Heineman saw the most with 19 minutes as the San Antonio product produced eight points for the Roadrunners.
Howard Payne travels to the Alamo City having wrapped up the 2013-14 campaign with a 16-10 overall record. The Yellow Jackets poured out 71.4 points an outing while allowing the opposition to put up 67.8 points per game.
