SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will close its season-opening five-game homestand at noon on Sunday when it hosts Southern Utah at the Convocation Center.
The Roadrunners (2-2) are coming off a 71-57 setback against Loyola-Chicago on Tuesday. Jeromie Hill scored a season-high 19 points in the defeat and he will enter Sunday's contest ranked fifth in Conference USA at 16.3 ppg, while his 8.0 boards per game rank fourth.
Meanwhile, the Thunderbirds (0-4) will be in search of their first win of the season. Southern Utah returns all five starters and eight letterwinners from last year's team.
