SAN ANTONIO — Former conference mates UTSA and Texas State will rekindle their I-35 rivalry on the hardwood at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Convocation Center.
The Roadrunners (1-1) will be playing the third game of a five-game homestand to open the 2014-15 campaign, while the Bobcats (2-0) will hit the road for the second time this season.
The squads met 46 times as members of the Southland Conference (1991-2012), with UTSA holding a 25-21 edge in those games, and they split a pair of meetings during the 2012-13 season as members of the Western Athletic Conference.
Overall, the Roadrunners lead the series, 32-23, including a 15-13 advantage at the Convo.
