SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will open its 34th season at 7 p.m. on Friday night when it hosts Huston-Tillotson at the Convocation Center.
The Roadrunners are coming off a 101-80 win over Southeastern Oklahoma State on Nov. 6 in their lone exhibition game. Seniors Keon Lewis (31 points) and Jeromie Hill (29 points) combined to score 60 points in the victory, which was the highest scoring exhibition effort in the Brooks Thompson era.
Friday’s contest will start a five-game homestand to open the 2014-15 season.
