SAN ANTONIO — Second-year head coach Michelle Cheatham announced the addition of three student-athletes to her program on Thursday.
Zoe Bacon (Austin, Texas/Lake Travis HS), Bailee Baldwin (Mansfield, Texas/Mansfield HS) and Stephanie Money (Richmond, Texas/George Ranch HS) each signed a National Letter of Intent in the early signing period and will debut for the Roadrunners in 2016.
“I am very excited about our signing class,” Cheatham said. “Each of them come from well-known and respected high school and club programs and they bring with them a lot of great playing experience. These three student-athletes are true Roadrunners that are committed to representing the blue and orange with pride and enthusiasm.”
Below is a breakdown of this year’s signing class.
Zoe Bacon, P/1B
Austin, Texas (Lake Travis HS)
Three-year letterwinner for head coach Chris Beck at Lake Travis High School in Austin … is a three-time team MVP and team captain … she has hit 30 home runs in her three seasons and owns school records for wins and strikeouts in the circle … she is a three-time all-district selection, including second-team recognition as a junior … also picked up first-team all-district and academic all-district honors as a sophomore … during her freshman campaign she earned District 26-4A Pitcher of the Year honors and was named Austin American-Statesman Cen-Tex Newcomer of the Year … hit .486 that season and went 23-6 in the circle with 122 strikeouts to help lead the Cavaliers to their first district championship … played club ball with the Austin Storm.

Bailee Baldwin, OF
Mansfield, Texas (Mansfield HS)
Three-year letterwinner for head coach Jennifer Haltom at Mansfield High School … a three-time all-district selection, including District 7-5A co-MVP honors as a junior … also earned a spot on the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Super Team after she hit .571 in the regular season with 29 extra-base hits and 26 RBIs … was a first-team all-district selection as a sophomore and earned district Newcomer of the Year laurels as a freshman … played club ball for the American Freedom Gold.

Stephanie Money, OF
Richmond, Texas (George Ranch HS)
Three-year letterwinner for head coach Donna Vrba at George Ranch High School in Richmond … was a three-time all-district and academic all-district selection, three-time all-area pick and two-time team offensive MVP … as a junior, she earned first-team all-district and all-area laurels and also was an academic all-district pick … was a second-team all-district performer, all-area selection and academic all-district honoree as sophomore … following her freshman campaign she was tabbed the district’s Newcomer of the Year along with all-area and academic all-district honors … played club ball for the Texas Storm … also received George Ranch’s Female Leadership Award as a freshman and sophomore and is a member of the National Honor Society and Future Farmers of America.
