Conference USA announces additional men's basketball TV games for Roadrunners

IRVING — Conference USA announced Tuesday that five UTSA home men’s basketball games during the upcoming 2014-15 season will be televised on the American Sports Network (ASN).

The Roadrunners’ matchups against Loyola-Chicago (Nov. 25), Southern Miss (Jan. 8), UTEP (Jan. 17), Middle Tennessee (Jan. 29) and Old Dominion (Feb. 12) will be shown on ASN as part of 63 C-USA men’s basketball contests slated to air on the network this season.

UTSA now has seven games set for television this season, including its Dec. 6 matchup at Washington State (Pac-12 Networks) and Jan. 4 tilt at North Texas (FOX Sports Networks).

Thirty-nine of the 63 games televised on ASN will be conference matchups, including the first round and quarterfinals of the 2015 C-USA Men’s Basketball Championship that begins on March 11 in Birmingham, Ala.

ASN is an initiative of the Sinclair Networks Group, LLC, which owns and operates, programs and provides sales services to 164 television stations in 78 markets, reaching approximately 40 percent of U.S. television households. It includes ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, MyTV, NBC, Univision and Azteca affiliates.
