SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will continue its fall season this weekend at the second annual Wildcats Invitational. The three-day event will begin at 11 a.m. (CT) on Friday at El Conquistador Golf and Tennis Resort in Tucson, Ariz.
The tournament will feature players from Colorado State, Marquette, Mississippi State, New Mexico, Northern Arizona, Texas State and UTEP in addition to the Roadrunners and host Wildcats.
The multiple-bracket event will consist of both singles and doubles play. All the action begins on Friday with one round of doubles play, followed by two rounds of singles competition. Saturday will include two rounds of singles and one round of doubles and Sunday will determine the championship with one round of singles and one round of doubles.
This weekend marks UTSA's third tournament of the fall campaign. The Roadrunners opened the season at the Marco & Co. Catering Islanders Invitational and they participated at the local St. Mary's Quad Invitational two weeks ago.
