IRVING — Conference USA announced Tuesday that FOX Sports Networks will televise the UTSA men’s basketball team’s Jan. 4 contest at North Texas.
The Roadrunners and Mean Green will tip off at 3:30 p.m. from the Super Pit. The game will be the first league meeting between the teams in Denton since the 1996 season, when both were members of the Southland Conference.
In their only meeting last season, North Texas defeated UTSA, 71-62, on Feb. 27 in San Antonio.
The Roadrunners will open their 34th season of play on Nov. 14 when they host Huston-Tillotson at 7 p.m.
