SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA softball program will add a Hitting Clinic on June 25 to its summer camps schedule.
The clinic, which will run from 1-4 p.m. and is open to campers age 12-18, will focus on hitting mechanics and techniques. Attendees will go through specific drills and learn how to properly hit different pitches. Cost for the three-hour session is $100.
In addition to the Hitting Clinic, spots remain for the Youth Summer Hitting & Defensive Camp (age 6-12) that will run from June 23-24. The camp will feature infield, outfield and hitting instruction and contain drill and competition stations that will give campers a chance to learn some of the drills that the Roadrunners use. Cost for the camp is $100.
The Advanced Level All-Skills Exposure Camp is full.
